sorry for all my frds who dropped by party on last sat nite.
was kinda really dissapointing one.
no exact time schedule, i could play like for 30min each.
another dj's selection is quite diverse but randomly and busy.
i expected he could build up more groove by disco but seems it was really hard to follow for ppl .
there was almost full house at 1am but many ppl left so early in 2hours, kinda amazing.
i don't want to say too negative.
we shouldn't complain "hard to make ppl in hk understand quality music."
it is. everyone knows music scene in hk is commercial.
but that's why there are some ppl doing something else and it's called underground.
and i believe real quality is...
diverse selection but should take suitable time to build up groove narturally.
smooth mixing to make mood and atmosphere will make ppl dance more positive.
even we when play some famous tunes, should drop them at the right moment.
then it could be explosion !!!
hopefully i'll have a chance to prove it soon...
was not really disco and i want more strictly disco party !!!!
this should be what ppl expected on that nite. (at least many my frds around me.)
have to find another chance to show real disco session soon again !!!
