dam funk
hell yes !!!
kinda artist who smashed me up the most in this 1year...
all of his work sounds really impressive.
no matter how he used lots of vintage instrument for production or dreamy retro sounds like 80's, i simply loved the beats, code, melody, and the feeling, everything.

since last month, i've started work from 9am in morning as same as ppl and everyday feel it's fucking pain still.....

no, i had too long to work with so irregular working condition... really.
and also everday only a few hours to sleep plus damn strange weather in this week completely fucked me up....
damn, coughing like hell whole day and finally i took sick leave.
when i visited doctor, was closed for a moment and i just down into my bed and had deeeeep sleep, love it.
just went down again to see doctor and got med, had dinner then sit back and relax.
now what i have to do is just be quiet.
sleep and sleep and sleep then get the fucking shitty panda eyes off, wanna be healthy.
it's almost the time for chinese new year holiday and i'm seriously afraid if i can be recovered soon or not but it was also good for me to take off a bit earlier holidays.
but i got up for adidas new line called "ot tech" collection tmr.

お疲れ山でした！
たまたま月曜の夜で大人しくしてて、久々にmixi見てみたら・・・
文章に沿ってウェブに飛んでみたら・・・
いつの間にかそんな事になってたなんて。
ちょっと今日は日本語で書きます。
僕が初めてレギュラーのDJとしてプレイさせてもらった店、Kieth Flack。
そして自分が初めてクラブでDJした時に知り合った店長（後にディレクター）のこうちゃん。
そしてその店をずっと一緒に引っ張って来たユカリンゴ。
福岡の皆はもちろん3年以上福岡を離れている自分にとっても、昔からずーっとお世話になっていてすごく大切なこの2人が、先日Kieth Flackを退社。
6月に帰国が決まった矢先にこのニュースを聞いて、正直かなりショック。
福岡に帰って生活が安定するのに多少時間は掛かるだろうけど、帰るべき所に会うべき人がいればきっとまたそこから頑張れるはず、と言い聞かせていただけに尚更。
思い返せば自分が初めてDJしたのもKieth Flackで、その時パーティーの最後にかけた曲の話で盛り上がって、仲良くなったのがこうちゃん。
その後店長になり、僕ら若い世代に色んな新しい刺激的な音を、パーティーをKiethから発信し、福岡のクラブシーンを盛り上げて来た人。
そしてユカリンゴはスタッフになってからずーっと色んなパーティーをくぐり抜けて来た仲間。
誰よりもパーティーに一生懸命、歌に一生懸命。
ヴォーカリストとしてもパーティーフリークとしても類を見ない存在。
帰ってユカリがショットグラス持ってバーカンにいないと思うと、やっぱり寂しいなー。
2人とも実際に話してないので、辞めた理由とか今後どうするのかとかがあまりよく分かってませんが、自分がリスペクトする2人なのできっと今後も違う形で更に前進して行くに違いありません。応援してます。

何か名前見るだけで「あーっ」てなる。
自分が香港に来てもう3年ちょっと。
でもこの3年で、地元の状況も色々と変わって来てるみたいで。
家庭を持つ人も増えただろうし、事情があって昔程は出て来ない人もいるだろうし、もう終わったパーティーもあれば新しく始まった知らないパーティーもあるだろうし。
それでも今でもずっと頑張って僕達の遊び場を守ってくれてる人がいて、そこを盛り上げてくれてる人がいる。
始めはショックを隠しきれなかったけど、ブログを見て皆の顔を見て、あの現場感を思い出しながら「うん、またここで頑張りたい！」って思った。
長くやってる人達が今もずっと頑張ってるのが伝わった。
自分も帰国したら１から出直しだ。
とは言え、まだ2月。
でもこっから旧正月に入ってあっという間に春が来る。
香港でまだやり残してる事がある。そしてそれは多分日本に帰っても終わらない。
これから自分がやらないといけない事は、日本と香港両方で活動をして行く為の土台作り。
日本に帰っても、香港の音楽シーンに関わる事が出来る様に。
せっかくここまで来て、これからなのに・・・。
というのは、いつもの事。
まだ何もやり遂げてないし、このままでは終わらせない。
まだうっすら頭の中に思い描いているだけだけど、今後日本に帰っても日本のDJ・アーティストを香港、それ以外にも他国にプロモートしたり、香港を軸に海外のDJ・アーティストを日本に紹介したりっていうのをしながら、香港でも日本でもDJ活動を続けて行きたい。
今DJとしてはだいぶ基盤が作れて来てる様な気がする。
今月は毎週末レギュラー2本。1日2本こなす日もザラ。1月も2月も10−15本。
それを1回1回満足の行く内容でこなして行く。
今月から始めたレギュラーは6月までに軌道に乗せる。そしてそれ以降ももちろん続ける。
1週間が本当に早い。
限りある時間を濃厚に過ごさねば！！！！！

We celebrate the life and music of James "Jay Dee" Yancey who has been in his spiritual transition on February 10th 2006 but still lives in all of music lovers.
